Web 2.0 illustrates the shifting development in using the World Wide Web. Web 2.0 intends to improve originality, information distribution, cooperation and functionality of the web. This also has led to the growth and advancement of a people becoming a web based community. Social-networking sites and video sharing sites are now available, thus allowing Web 2.0 to demonstrate how technology has established. While the phrase may give the impression of an up dated version of the World Wide Web, it doesn’t reflect to an update to any technical specifications, but to changes in the ways software developers and end-users utilize the Web.








Web 2.0 is responsible for the variety of things that can be accessed on the internet.

Web 1.0- mainly consisted a way to obtain information. Web 1.0 was very basic and had informative sites.
Web 2.0 -mainly consists of social networking sites that appeals to a global audience. This is updated technology which allows users to retrieve information by running applications etc.




















This clearly shows how Web 2.0 has had a major influence of how people interact on the internet. Also the increase in User Generated Content (UGC) can show the distinction between consumers and producers has occurred. Furthermore the interest in how the media can be defined is the fact that we are the media.
